Our handmade fresh pasta and pizza is made in an open kitchen, so you can watch the chef make your meal exactly as you like it. Extra Chilli? Sure. No Garlic? No problem.
Perfect for all dietary preferences, intolerances and fussy eaters.

Our restaurant are like nowhere else. Spacious, full of natural light with plenty of seats – sharing tables and lounge seating.
You can sit where you like and stay as long as you want.
The laid back vibes and great music make Vapiano one of *the* places to go and eat.
All orders are taken by scanning a QR code at your table, and we bring all food and drink to you – no more queuing for the chef.

We don’t take bookings, simply turn up when the mood takes you.

OUR JOURNEY

Vapiano started in 2002 in Hamburg, Germany. In the Netherlands we opened our first restaurant in 2007, in The Hague, with something really different. For a year, guests from all over the Netherlands came to The Hague to get acquainted with the special concept. The first restaurant in the Netherlands where you order with a card, the food is prepared immediately for you and you pay afterwards. Handmade fresh pasta cooked in front of you, just the way you like it. Extra pepper? Certainly. No garlic? No problem. Can’t you eat mushrooms? We’ll leave them out.

With the success of the first Vapiano in the Netherlands, the capital could not be left behind. In 2008 a second Vapiano restaurant opened; Vapiano Amsterdam Oosterdokskade.

Vapiano now has 9 restaurants in NL. The latest was opened in the summer of 2021 in Westfield Mall of the Netherlands in Leidschendam. Vapiano also switched its original card system to a QR order system. Where you can order directly from your table!

Since our first restaurant in 2002, we now have over 134 restaurants across 25 countries including Austria, Australia, Bahrain, Columbia, Dubai, Egypt, France, Hungary, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Qatar, Romania, Spain, Ukraine and more.

Basically, wherever you travel, you’re pretty much guaranteed to get yourself a great bowl of Vapiano pasta.
